Copic Challenge No 38 - Browns and/or Make a Scene

This card also meets the Copic Challenge No 37 - Colorless Blender Tricks.   I used the blender to clean up edges, create highlights on balloons, and create texture on the hedge hogs fur.  The stamp sets I used are Happy Forever D1423 and Raccoon and Friends D1067 from Close To My Heart.
These can be ordered on my web site (click here)
I think this little guy is so cute and I know just who will get this birthday card.  I'm not telling.
I used a bunch of markers on this one:  Blender Pen, E4, E11, E15, E18, E29, E49, E57, G00, G02, G14, G24, B00, BG01, BG09, RV00, RV02.  Copic Challenge site

More Thanksgiving Cards

I used a level 1 cardstock to make these cards.  They actually measure 4"x 5.25" instead of the standard 4.25" x 5.5" but the 1/4 inch is not missed and they still fit in the standard envelope.  Why? Way less paper waste.  And where you see the different papers is mostly already done in the design of the page.  SO EASY!

I really enjoy making cards in between the scrapbook pages.  With less time I still feel like I get something done and my dear hubby doesn't feel neglected.  I will be attending the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Kansas City next weekend and will post some pics of that next weekend.

Copic Challenge #32

I used one of the Elizabeth's characters to create this bookmark to keep with the READING theme.  Only I printed three copies of it and created a taller stack of books.  There are so many tallented women drawing and coloring on these links.  Take a look sometime.  I know I get lost looking at all the blogs listed.

Copic Birthday Card

Mom had this stamp of balloons and I had seen the technique of coloring the balloons to look like the transparent balloons.  I don't know that is shows well, but you can see the back balloons through the front balloons.  The sentiment stamps and papers are Close To My Heart.

Hope your Easter was a great one.

Gary and I took a ride on our trike and enjoyed the day.  As for artwork I have again been working on the contest pages.  I have two more to do.  I made a wonderful waterfall card for a swap, but boo hoo, I forgot to take a picture of the card.  And it was a neat one too.  Oh, well.  Maybe I'll post a pic of it when I get one back in mid May.  I have been working on some ATCs ( Artist Trading Cards ) and did take a picture of the ones I completed today.  Here goes:
I used CTMH papers and the "So Sweet" C1389 stamp set and copic markers to color them.

Happy Sunday!

There are lots of clouds out there, but we have a little sun at the moment.  Yahoo!

Our neihgbor cut his finger on a table saw. After seeing pictures of the injury before stitches all I could think of was this comment about nail clippers. I hope it lightens his day.

Copic Green-challenge  just in time for St. Patricks Day.  I used:  G00,07,14,21.                  I don't have many markers and try to use what I do have creatively.  I used and online image from a site that offered 700 free images.  Most of the images are alpha characters but they did have some nice pics, like this one, that are great for coloring.  I don't rememer the site and I havn't been able to find it again, so don't ask.  I'm sorry.  Now, I just We are always learning something, arn't we.      See other copic creations here:  http://copiccreations.wordpress.com/tag/copic-coloring-of-green/

Copic Markers

I had so much fun at the Copic Training.  I met some friendly women at lunch and sat next to a couple of nice ladys durring the training.  I learned so much!  It just opened a desire for more.  More markers, more paper (CTMH paper is part of my earlier problems with the inks), and more equipment.  The airbrush system is neat.
