UpDate On Gary

We got to KU hospital this morning at 7:30 am.  Gary was taken back at 9:00 am and surgery started at 10:00 am.  At 1:00 pm someone came out and let me know that they had just finished clearing scar tissue around the bladder and that everything was looking good.  When we talked with the doctor he let us know of 4 scinarios.  Best case being to attach left kidney to bladder using a patch of the bladder, worst being to take the left kidney out.  2:00 pm they let me know that we had the best case scinario and the proceedure was under way.  He is now out of surgery and is trying to wake up.  That was 6:30 pm last night.
