Getting Started

Three weeks ago I made a very important decision... I am going to change my life, starting with me. What is the big deal? Over the last 3-4 years I have had way too much stress and I went from a size 6 to a size 12. Whoa Yea! I hate the way I look and I am finally going to do something about it.

Since that descision I have cut sugar and most processed foods from my diet. I have also cut soda (even diet) and drastically cut the eating out. I have now lost 8 lbs. I have 30 or so to go but seeing some progress is inspiring. My exercise level has been spoty at best but, today, I decided to exercise every day. My goal is to do a half an hour each day. On the days I can't I will still do a minimum of 10 min. just so I have some activity.

Well, so much for that. I am also going to try to post all my art work. Not all of it makes it to my web site so I hope you are able to enjoy both areas.

  1. I wish you all the best with your workout regimen. I did that about a year and a half ago and I have lost 40 lbs and ran a half marathon. I never intended to do the marathon when I started, but I feel great. Just take it one day at a time and keep with it. If you have a bad day (or several in a row) don't lose hope. Just keep going because everyday is a new start. You have beautiful artwork here and I hope you continue to post. Good luck with everything! I'm sure you'll reach your goals!
